Świąteczny YouTube Hop 2020 - Star shaped frame

Hello Friends. Today I want to invite you to join amazing initiative from Polish scrapbookers - Świąteczny YouTube Hop 2020. It's sort of creative advent calendar that started on December 1'st. Each day up to the Christmas Eve one video will appear, prepared by talented scappy people from Poland, presenting you how to make christmas related project. All the videos will appear on their private YouTube channels and all the links to previous videos will be listed in description boxes. Everything is coordinated and gathered on FB page called "HOPlandia", where you can find all the links daily. To boost up the fun, Hoplandia gahtered many amazing sponsors so you can hop along, be inspired and win some awesome prizes.

Today is my turn for christmas video and I made star shaped frame with "Merry & bright" collection from Mintay Papers - one of the sponsors. This is how the finished project look:

LO "Tropical vibes" | Mintay Papers

If you are such a plant lover as myslef you will for sure love "Urban jungle" collection from Mintay Papers. It's filled with juicy plants and amazing natural textures. Even though the scenes on papers are more indoor I used this line to scrapbook my love for tropical plants, whenever I have a chance to watch them grow in their natural habitat. When I was visiting Australia last year, I had plenty of chances to snap some "crazy plant lady" photos.

LO "Is it prickly?" | Mintay Papers

I am totally a "summer" girl. I hate winter and cold and June, July and August are my favorite months of the year. I also love travelling to warm and exotic (comparing to Poland) places. Especially the ones where you can find plants and animals, that do not appear in my neighbourhood. And succulents are my favorite of them all. When I see one growing outside, I know I am on vacation. I always snap some photos of them and my girls are also amazed by how different the look. Maja was curious how prickly is the opuncia and I was there to take some photos. I scrapbooked this moment using "Suntastic" collection from Mintay Papers. This is such a summery and beautiful line.

Happy Hallowen | Mintay Papers

Hello Friends. Happy (Belated) Halloween. Maybe somewhere out there in the world there is still October 31'st? I wanted to share with you two cute cards made with Mintay Papers products. This company doesn't have any Halloween themed collection so I needed to be more creative. I combined few darker papers from "Day by day" line with pumpkins cut out from Flora Book 3. I also added bits and pieces from "Old manor" and "Fall festival". I love playing with paper and stretching my goodies to use them in unconventional way.

LO "Happy birthday" | Mintay Papers

Hello Friends. Today I have colorful and fun page to share with you. I used a little bit older line from Mintay Papers called "Forever young". This is such a joyful collection, perfect for framing photos from my younger daughter's last birthday party.

Mintay Papers just turned three and is celebrating it with a great challege over their Mintay Papers Inspo Place group on FB. You can join any time. It's a spot filled with amazing inspirations from both Mintay DT and fans, where the challenges are hosted. This time you have to make a birthday project with a cake. It can be album, card, canvas. Whatever float your boat.

I recorded a process video for my page if you want to learn how it was done.

Here are the photos of the project. Check the end of the post for the products I used.

LO "Home beauty salon" | Mintay Papers

Hello. I have a really fun page to share with you today. At least for me :) Few months ago I was invited to visit recently opened home beauty salon run by my two daughters. I got a complete hair makeover to look more like a princess... You need to decide if it was a big success or a fail :) I was using a mix of Mintay Papers collections trying to focus on pinks. I mixed papers and flowers and put my border puches for a good use. I recorded a process video too :)

Here is the finished project:

Layout in the frame "Lady"

Hello Friends. Today I have something a little bit different to share with you. Usually, when I make my layouts, I keep them all in the boxes. I gave up putting them into albums because it seems I am over producing and it would cost me a small fortune. I also do not have any special display for some of the pages. It doesn't feel right, but I just don't have enough walls in scappy space. When Zuza Gułaj, owner of a Polish company called Scrapcesoria, asked me if I want to try her wooden frames, designed for displaying layouts, I had to say yes. They come in three different ways - plain 12*12 square with a hole to hang it, simple shadow box frame and more decorated shadow box frame. I decided to use the fancy frame and combined it with an elegant "Lady" collection from Mintay Papers. I knew the layout won't have to fit into page protector so I could go wild with adding dimension. This is the final result. More more romantic than my usual style :)

LO "Destination: South Africa"

This year will not be a travel year for sure. All we can do is to go back to the momeries made in previous year and scrapbook them. I had a great pleasre to visit South Africa last July with my friend Karola and teach few classes there. I made a page documenting our travel there, using amazing "Wanderlust" collection from Mintay Papers. I also recorded a process video for you.

Here is the finished project:

Album "Happy place" | Mintay Papers

Pink and blue combined with flowers and happy thoughts - description of a perfect collection. "Happy place" line from Mintay Papers has it all and creating this album was a real pleasure. I made it from a scratch, starting with the fabric cover through adding all the pages. It's still empty - waiting to be gifted to someone.
