Pops of Positivity | Scrapbook.com

Hello everyone. Life of each scrapbooker is a circle of great prosperity times when mojo is just boiling inside us and times where it's basically dead. It happens to me once in a while too. Great way to awake the creativity is to browse through amazing projects of other scrapbookers. It always leps me to get back my sparkle. There are few great sources and one of my favorite is Scrapbook.com Gallery. Thousands of SBC community members share their projects there and they are grouped by many categories. You can save most inspiring projects for later and easily find products used to make them.

Recently the SBC Gallery had a great makeover making it even easier and fun to use! We were celebrating it with Pops of Positivity event on Instagram. Each participant had to create a project using Pops of Color - liquid pearls manufactured by Scrapbook.com. I created fun card with paint palette.

Cards with foiled flowers | Scrapbook.com

Hello everyone. I own a hot goiling machine for a long time, but I didn't used it almost at all. I had only few foil colors and plates so it never tempted me to add those shiny elements to my projects. Recently I got few fun plates from Scrapbook.com and I pulled out my machine. I also purchased some foils and made myself a foiling station using one of the Scrapbook.com exclusive storage solutions. I reused a pocket card organizer and now my foils look like this:

All my plates are stored in the back and all the foils are tucked into the sections of the box. One section is empty for storing foil pieces that can be reused for some smaller elements later.
I must admit it's a very convinient way of storing foils and makes me want to use them more often.

I started with making two DL sized cards with foiled flowers. I used "Glimmered botanical" plates from Spellbinders and foiled on top of the colored smooth cardstock. Each card has a different color scheme and different pattern in the background, made with vellum and some DL size dies. Background was colored with Distress Oxide Sprays so it was a really fast and easy process. You can find all the supplies at the end of this post.

LO "Summertime" | Scrapbook.com

Hello everyone. Today I have another layout inspiration for you. This time inspiration came from a very unexpected place - one of the pocket cards. Simple, retro beach scene turned into fun page. I didn't used any pattern paper while making it. Instead I colored the white background using Distress Oxide inks and stencils. I used Slimline Smooth Cardstock Pads from Scrapbook.com to add some color. Embellishments are from the last ever Dear Lizzy collection called "Here and there" and some Simple Stories word stickers. It was one of those pages, made mostly for fun and to try new ideas. I recorded a process video for you in case you want to see how it all came together.

And here are few photos of my page. You can find full list of supplies at the end of this post.

Few fun cards with Pops of Color | Scrapbook.com

Hello everyone. Welcome after a longer break. Today I want to share with you few cards created with fun product from Scrapbook.com - Pops of Color. They are a loquid pearl kind of product, that you may use for creating dots like enamel dots, but also for few other techniques. I smeared them with a spatula creating shiny paint drip. I also used them to create sort of sprinkles on my cards. I am still exploring this product and finding new ways I can use it so stay tuned for more!

Pops of Color come in  14 different colors (more are coming soon) and most of them have a pearl finish. You can also find white, black and clear amoung them.

I created two cards with smeared Pops in the background in two color variations.

They are quite simple because I didn't want to cover the background. I embellished them using flower dies "Simply perfect" from Spellbinders and Smooth Cardstock pads.

Second set of cards highlights foiling, masking and some Pops of Color sprinkles and dots.

They were easy to make and foiled elements gives them a special touch.
