Hello everyone. Today I come to you with an idea for easy to make background ideas. They are downsized to the card base but you can totally use the same technique to make a bigger, layout size background. Actually, I think I will make one as an inspiration in upcoming week. All you need is a trimmer, glue and some colorful cardstock. I created few christmas cards but you can make them any theme you want by just changing colors.

I used very versatile product - A2 smooth cardstock pads from Scrapbook.com. They come in six different color combinations and are a must have for all the cardmakers. If you are more a layout person, you can reach for American Crafts cardstock. You can purchase it in colorful sets too.
